Privacy and saved progress.

Your saved plant

Your plant, recent journal, and display preferences are stored in this browser’s local storage. They are not synced between devices. Clearing this site’s browser data removes that saved progress. Private browsing or blocked storage may prevent saving.

Analytics choices

When enabled on the public simulator, Google Analytics measures visits. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled. The simulator’s page-view command excludes query strings, URL fragments, and the referring page; your plant and journal are not included in it.

Our server uses a regional lookup to decide whether permission is required. In protected or unresolved regions, Analytics stays off until you allow it. In other regions, it may start automatically unless you have declined. Your explicit decline is saved in this browser and takes priority after reload.

Use Analytics choices to allow or disable Analytics at any time. The development version keeps tracking disabled. This information page does not load Google Analytics.

What disabling Analytics does

The simulator stops its Analytics reporting, removes its Google script, and attempts to clear its Analytics cookies. Your plant and journal stay saved. The choice applies to this browser; clearing site data also clears the choice.

Regional lookup

Regional decisions are served by this website using a country database from DB-IP. The simulator does not call a separate browser-side location service.
